Inside a Hub — Overview

Once you open a Hub, you enter your Hub workspace — the central area where you manage Rooms, Experio, Learners, and Educators. Before diving into specific tasks, this guide gives you a map of everything you'll see and where to find it.

The Hub Workspace Layout

The Hub workspace is divided into three main areas: the Top Frame, the Hero Section, and the Room Content area.

Top Frame

The top frame runs across the top of the screen and contains two key elements.

1. Hub Icon & Title

On the top-left, you'll see the Hubs icon and title text. This is a display element only — nothing happens when you hover or click it.

2. Hub Status & Action Button

On the top-right, you'll see the Hub's current status and its corresponding action button.

For a full guide on pausing and resuming, see Pausing and Resuming a Hub.

Hero Section

The Hero Section sits at the top of the workspace and gives you a summary of the Hub at a glance. It contains the following elements.

1. Hub Cover Image

Displays in a 4:3 aspect ratio. Clicking or hovering on the image does nothing.

2. Hub Title

Shows a maximum of 1 line. If the title is longer, it will be truncated with "...". Hover over the title to see a tooltip with the full title. To edit it, use the Edit button.

3. Hub Description

Shows 1 line by default. Click Show More to expand and read the full description.

4. Icons and Metadata

Below the title and description, you'll see two metadata items:

  • Total Participants — the combined count of all Educators and Learners across the Hub.
  • Start Date – End Date — only shown if a duration has been set for the Hub.

5. Edit Button

Located on the top-right of the Hero Section. On hover, a soft shadow appears below the button. On click, the Edit Hub Details popup opens — same as editing from the Hub list. See Editing Hub Details for the full guide.

6. Hub Summary

Click the Summary area on the left of the Hero Section to open a popup showing a bird's-eye view of your entire Hub — total Rooms, Educators, Learners, and Experio, broken down per Room. See Understanding Hub Summary for more.

Everything inside the Summary popup is display only. No hover or click actions are available on the data inside it.

Room List (Left Panel)

The left panel of the workspace displays your Room List — all the Rooms created within this Hub.

What you'll see in the Room List:

  • Rooms header — display text only, no action on hover or click.
  • Rooms tooltip (ⓘ) — hover to see: "Your digital teaching space: Host educators, invite learners, and upload interactive lessons to start learning." No action on click.
  • (+) Add New Room button — hover to see a pale blue background and tooltip "Add New Room". Click to immediately create a new Room below the existing ones.
  • Room list items — each Room shows its icon, name, and total Learner count (Active + Archived).

Room limit: A Hub can contain a maximum of 10 Rooms. Room 01 is automatically created when a new Hub is made.

For a full guide on creating, renaming, duplicating, and deleting Rooms, see Creating and Managing Rooms.

Room Content Area (Main Panel)

Clicking on any Room in the left panel loads its content in the main panel on the right. This is where you manage everything inside a specific Room.

Each Room has three tabs at the top:

Experio Tab

Where you import and manage learning content for this Room. You can search, sort, schedule, pin, download, and remove Experio from here.

See Importing Experio into a Room and Scheduling Experio Access for full guides.

Learner Tab

Where you invite and manage Learners in this Room. You can set a Max Learner limit, invite via email, Excel or QR code, archive, reassign, and remove Learners.

See Managing Learners in a Room for the full guide.

Educator Tab

Where you invite and manage co-Educators in this Room. You can invite via email, reassign, and remove Educators.

See Managing Educators in a Room for the full guide.

What's Not in This Hub (Removed from Previous Version)

If you're familiar with the previous Hub, a few things have changed:

  • The Show Answer toggle has been removed.
  • QR Code invitations have been moved to the Learner Tab inside each Room.
  • The Add Itinerary Plan button is hidden for now and will be covered in a future update.

Important Notes / Tips

  • Room 01 is created automatically when you first create a Hub — it's ready to use right away.
  • The Hero Section, Summary popup, and Room List header are all display-only elements. Actions are taken via the Edit button, More Settings, and the Room tabs.
  • Save as Template and Import from Template options are visible in the Hub workspace but are currently UI only — full functionality is coming in a future update.
  • For a full list of what each Hub status means and how it affects your workspace, see Understanding Hub Status Labels.
