Managing Your Hub List

Before You Begin

  1. Log in to BeED using your account credentials.
  2. Make sure your active role is set to Educator (or Admin).
  3. From the left menu, navigate to Hub.

What You'll Find on the Hub Main Page

When you open Hub, you'll land on your Hub list โ€” a full view of all Hubs you've created or been added to as a co-Educator. From here, you can filter, sort, switch views, and pin Hubs for quick access.

Let's get started ๐Ÿ‘‡

Searching for a Hub

  • Use the Search field in the top frame to find a specific Hub by title.
  • A (x) clear icon appears inside the search box after typing 1 character โ€” click it to reset the search.
  • Suggestions appear automatically after typing 2 or more characters.

Filtering Your Hub List

Two filters are available to help you narrow down what you see.

Hub Roles Filter

OptionWhat it shows
All HubsEvery Hub you have access to
Created By MeOnly Hubs you created
Shared Teaching HubsOnly Hubs where you are a co-Educator

Hub Status Filter

OptionWhat it shows
All StatusHubs in any status
ActiveHubs currently running
ScheduledHubs with a future start date
EndedHubs whose duration has ended

Filtered results are always sorted by most recent creation date first (newest to oldest).

Switching Between Grid and List View

Use the view toggle (top-right of the workspace) to switch between two display modes.

  • Grid view โ€” the default. Displays Hub cover image, title, total members, and duration.
  • List view โ€” adds a one-line Hub description alongside the same details as Grid view.

To switch views:

  1. Click the List icon to switch to List view.
  2. Click the Grid icon to return to Grid view.

Once you switch to List view and interact with a Hub, List view becomes your default for future visits. It will remain your preference until you switch back.

Accessing a Hub

  • Click anywhere on a Hub card to open it and view its contents.
  • There is no separate "View" button โ€” the entire card is clickable.

Using Hub Card More Settings

Each Hub card has a three-dot (โ‹ฎ) More Settings menu. Hover over any option to highlight it, then click to take action.

OptionWhat it does
Edit Hub DetailsOpens the Edit Hub popup to update name, image, description, or duration
Pause Hub / Resume HubManually pauses an active Hub or resumes a paused one
Duplicate HubCreates a copy of the Hub (see note below)
Pin HubPins the Hub to the top of your list
DownloadDownloads the Hub as a PDF
DeletePermanently deletes the Hub

Pause / Resume is only available on Active and Paused Hubs.

When duplicating an Active or Scheduled Hub, the copy is set to Ended automatically โ€” this prevents duplicated Experio from being pushed to Learner devices. When duplicating an Ended Hub, the copy is created as-is.

Pinning a Hub

Pinning keeps your most important Hubs fixed at the top of your list for easy access.

  1. Open the More Settings (โ‹ฎ) menu on a Hub card.
  2. Click Pin Hub.
  3. A notification will confirm: "Hub pinned."

Important pin rules:

  • You can pin a maximum of 3 Hubs at a time.
  • If you already have 3 pinned and try to pin another, a prompt will appear: "Maximum pinned hub reached. Replace oldest pin?" โ€” select Yes to unpin the oldest and pin the new one, or Cancel to keep the current pins.
  • To unpin, open More Settings on a pinned Hub โ€” the option will now read Unpin Hub. Click it and you'll see: "Hub unpinned."

Quick Summary

  1. Go to Hub from the left menu.
  2. Use the Search field to find a Hub by title.
  3. Use the Roles filter and Status filter to narrow your list.
  4. Toggle between Grid and List view using the view icons.
  5. Click anywhere on a Hub card to open it.
  6. Use the More Settings (โ‹ฎ) menu on any card to edit, pause, pin, duplicate, or delete.

Your Hub list is under control โ€” now dive in and start teaching!

Important Notes / Tips

  • Admins can see all Hubs within their institution, not just their own. Educators only see Hubs they created or were added to.
  • Filtered and searched results are always sorted newest first โ€” you cannot manually reorder your Hub list.
  • List view preference is saved per user โ€” switching one account to List view does not affect other users.
  • The Duplicate and Download options are currently being rolled out โ€” functionality may be UI only depending on your platform version.
  • If a Hub card has no description or duration set, the card still retains its standard size for visual consistency.
