Pinning Experio in a Room

Before You Begin

  1. Log in to BeED using your account credentials.
  2. Make sure your active role is set to Educator (or Admin).
  3. From the left menu, navigate to Hub, open your Hub, and select the Room you want to manage.
  4. Make sure you are on the Experio tab inside the Room and have at least one Experio imported.

What is Pinning?

Pinning keeps your most important Experio fixed at the top of the Room's Experio list โ€” making them immediately visible to you and your team without having to scroll or search. You can pin up to 3 Experio per Room at any time.

How to Pin an Experio

  1. In the Experio list, locate the Experio you want to pin.
  2. Click the three-dot (โ‹ฎ) menu on that Experio row.
  3. Select Pin to Top.
  4. A notification confirms: "Experio pinned."
  5. The Experio moves to the top of the list immediately.

How to Unpin an Experio

  1. Locate the pinned Experio at the top of the list.
  2. Click the three-dot (โ‹ฎ) menu on that Experio row.
  3. The option now reads Unpin Message โ€” select it.
  4. A notification confirms: "Hub unpinned."
  5. The Experio returns to its original position in the list.

What Happens When You Reach the Pin Limit

You can pin a maximum of 3 Experio per Room. If you try to pin a fourth:

  1. A prompt appears: "Maximum pinned experio reached. Replace oldest pin?"
  2. Select Yes โ€” the oldest pinned Experio is unpinned and the new one takes its place at the top.
  3. Select Cancel โ€” no changes are made and your current 3 pins remain.

Quick Summary

  1. Click (โ‹ฎ) on any Experio row and select Pin to Top โ€” notification: "Experio pinned."
  2. To unpin, click (โ‹ฎ) on a pinned Experio and select Unpin Message โ€” notification: "Hub unpinned."
  3. Maximum 3 pins per Room โ€” replacing the oldest pin is offered automatically when the limit is reached.

Your most important Experio are front and centre โ€” ready for your Learners!


Important Notes / Tips

  • Pinning is a per-Room setting โ€” pins in one Room do not affect other Rooms in the same Hub.
  • Pinned Experio are visible to the Educator only in the Room management view โ€” this is an organisational tool for managing the Experio list, not a Learner-facing feature.
  • The pin limit of 3 is fixed and cannot be increased.
  • Unpinning does not remove or affect the Experio in any way โ€” it simply returns it to its natural position in the sorted list.
  • If you delete a pinned Experio, the pin slot is freed up automatically and another Experio can be pinned in its place.
