Public Topics are discussion threads created by Educators.
Visible to all members of the institution network
Ideal for open discussions, sharing ideas, or collaborative learning
Identified by an Unlock 🔓 icon next to the topic title
🔒 Private Topics
Private Topics are also created by Educators, but with limited visibility.
Visible only to selected users
Suitable for focused discussions, small groups, or private conversations
💬 Messenger
Messenger allows users to communicate privately within the institution network.
Send one-to-one private messages
Create group chats for team or class discussions
Keeps conversations organised and separate from public topics
👥 Members
Members allows users to easily find and connect with others within the institution network.
Search for contacts within the institution
Start direct chats with selected contacts instantly
View contact details for better identification and communication
🚫 Restricted Words
The Restricted Words feature helps maintain a respectful and safe environment.
Managed by Curriculum Directors and Admins
Restricts the use of profanity or sensitive words across BeED Connect
Automatically applies rules to all users within the institution network
🚨 Manage Reports & Ban Users
To ensure a positive community experience, BeED Connect includes moderation tools.
Manage Reports allows Educators and Admins to review reported posts or messages
Take appropriate actions such as:
Issuing warnings
Temporarily banning users for inappropriate behavior
