Understanding the “More Options” Menu in Journal (Revamp)

The More Options menu in the Journal has been enhanced in the latest revamp to help you manage Journals and saved content more efficiently.

Depending on where you access it, the available options may work differently.

This article explains how More Options behave on:

  • The Main Journal page, and

  • inside an individual Journal.

Where to Find the More Options Menu

  • Open Journal from the main menu.

  • Tap the More Options (⋮) icon:

    • on the main Journal page, or

    • inside a specific Journal.

When accessed from the main Journal page, the options apply to Journal entries as a whole.

Available Functions

  • Tags (Filter Only)

    • Use Tags to filter and find Journal entries based on specific topics or labels.

  • Sort By

    • Sort your Journal entries by criteria such as:

      • Latest updated

      • Latest created

  • Delete (Bulk Action)

    • Delete multiple Journal entries at once.

  • Download (Bulk Action)

    • Download multiple Journal entries for offline access.

More Options Inside a Journal

When accessed inside a specific Journal, the options apply only to that Journal and its saved blocks.

Available Functions

  • Tags (Add or Manage Tags)

    • Add or edit Tags for the selected Journal.

  • Sort By (Blocks)

    • Sort saved blocks inside the Journal (lesson blocks or question blocks).

    • Delete only the currently opened Journal.

  • Download (Single Journal)

    • Download only the selected Journal for offline viewing.

Important Notes

  • The behavior of More Options depends on your current location in the Journal feature.

  • Always check whether you are on the main Journal page or inside a Journal before performing actions like Delete or Download.

  • Bulk actions are only available on the main Journal page.

Summary

The More Options menu in the Journal Revamp is designed to be context-aware:

  • On the main page, it helps you manage multiple Journals at once.

  • Inside a Journal, it helps you organize and manage content within that Journal.

Understanding this difference ensures you can use Journal features confidently and efficiently.
