As an educator/moderator you have the authority/access to create the meeting session using Bmeet
There are 3 methods to create a meeting using our Bmeet.
Directly from B-Meet module selector
Create from conference block (Click the link for the details)
Direct access from Greenlight (Internal use) (Click the link for the details)
Before starting, make sure:
You are logged in with Educator or Admin access.
Your B-Meet module is available in the LMS.
Steps to Create and Start a B-Meet Session
Log in to the LMS using your Educator credentials.
From the Module Selector, choose B-Meet.
Click the π Calendar Icon on the top-right corner to create a new session.
Fill in the required details:
Conference Title β Enter a clear and descriptive name for your class or meeting.
Conference Description β Add key details or objectives to explain the purpose of the session.
Start Date β Choose when the session begins.
End Date β Choose when the session ends.
Start Time β Set the exact time your session will begin.
End Time β Set the exact time your session will end.
Timezone β Confirm the correct timezone so all participants see accurate scheduling.
Generate Link β Click to automatically create a unique meeting link.
Generated Link Field β Displays the meeting link; you can copy and share it.
Copy Button β Copies the generated link to your clipboard.
Reset Entry β Clears all entries and lets you start over.
Save Conference β Saves your setup and confirms the meeting details.
X Button β Cancels the session creation.
Click Generate Link to create the session link.
Copy the link and share it with your learners.
Click Save Conference to finalise your setup.
To begin the live session, click Start Conference from your B-Meet list.
B-Meet Tabs Overview
Tab | Description |
---|---|
1. Schedule | Create a new meeting session. |
2. Meetings | Displays sessions that have been created but not yet started. |
3. Meeting Logs | Shows sessions that have already started and ended. |
4. Copy | Copy the full meeting details, including the link. |
5. Copy (Link Only) | Copy only the meeting link. |
6. Start Conference | Launch the live meeting session. |
7. Enter Meeting Title | Search for a meeting by its title. |
π Notes
The created session will automatically appear in your B-Meet list.
You can always view or copy the link later from the B-Meet list if you missed it earlier.
Learners and participants can only join after the Educator or Moderator starts the session.
When the Educator leaves, the system will automatically close the session after 3 minutes. Participants may remain until it closes automatically.
