Overview

The BeED Hub Revamp introduces an improved interface and enhanced functionality to better support educators in managing learning content.

With a more intuitive design, the new Hub aims to:

  • Create a more engaging learning environment
  • Simplify Hub creation and management
  • Improve accessibility to important information
  • Enable more efficient content delivery to learners

Main Page Layout

The Hub main page is divided into three key sections:

  1. Top Frame
  2. Left Frame
  3. Workspace

1. Top Frame

 

Search Field

  • Located at the top of the page
  • Allows users to quickly search for specific Hub titles

 

 

Plus Button (+)

  • Located at the top-right corner
  • Used to create a new Hub

Create a New Hub

 

 

When clicking the Plus Button (+), a creation form will appear.

Required fields:

  • Cover Image: An image that represents your Hub. Click the pencil icon beside it to upload your cover image.
  • Hub Name: The title of your Hub.
  • Description: A brief explanation of what the Hub is about.
  • Duration: The time period when the Hub will be active. Toggle it on to set the start and end dates.

Actions:

  • Create
    • The Hub becomes Active immediately
    • You will be redirected into the Hub
  • Cancel
    • Returns you to the Hub main page

2. Left Frame

 

 

Hub Tab

  • Default landing page when accessing the Hub module
  • Displays all available Hubs

Upcoming Itinerary Tab

  • Intended for planning Hub journeys
  • Currently available as a UI element only
  • Detailed functionality will be introduced in future updates

3. Workspace

 

 

Banner

  • The “Create a Hub” button is available here
  • Functions the same as the Plus Button (+)

Filters

 

 

Filters help you quickly find and organize your Hubs.

Hub Roles Filter

  • All Hubs → Displays all Hubs
  • Created By Me → Shows only Hubs you created
  • Shared Teaching Hubs → Shows Hubs where you are a Co-Educator

 

Hub Status Filter

  • All Status → Displays all Hubs
  • Active → Hubs currently in use
  • Paused → Hubs temporarily stopped
  • Scheduled → Hubs planned for future use
  • Ended → Hubs that have completed

Note: Filtered results are automatically sorted by the most recently created Hubs.


View Settings

 

 

You can choose how Hub cards are displayed:

  • Grid View (Default)
  • List View (Alternative)

Hub Cards (Grid View)

 

Each Hub is displayed as a card with a status that indicates its current state.

Hub Status Types

Active

  • No duration is set, or the current date falls within the set duration
  • Learning content (Experio) is immediately delivered to learners

Paused

  • Hub is manually paused by the user
  • Learning content is removed from educator and learner devices

Scheduled

  • Start date is set in the future
  • Content will only be delivered when the start date is reached

Ended

  • The Hub duration has passed
  • Content is no longer available on devices
  • Previously known as “Restart Hub” in earlier versions

More Settings (Hub Card Menu)

 

 

Accessible by hovering over a Hub card. Options are highlighted when selected.

Available Actions

  • Edit Hub → Update Hub details
  • Pause / Reactivate Hub → Control Hub availability
  • Pin Hub → Keep important Hubs at the top for quick access
