1. What does the Archive User function do?
The Archive User function allows Admins or Educators to disable access for specific users in a Hub. Archived users will no longer receive updates or notifications from the Hub, including updates about Experios.
2. How does archiving users affect their access?
- No Notifications: Archived users stop receiving updates related to the Hub or its Experios.
- Read-Only Mode: All associated Experios in the Hub are automatically archived, and users can only access them in read-only mode.
- No New Attempts: Archived users cannot attempt or participate in any new Experios within the Hub.
3. Who can archive users?
Admins and Educators with appropriate permissions can archive users in a Hub.
4. Can I archive a user who has already attempted an Experio?
Yes, users can be archived even if they have previously attempted Experios. Their attempts will remain recorded and available for viewing.
5. What happens to archived Experios in the Hub?
- Archived Experios linked to the user become read-only.
- Educators and learners can still view these Experios but cannot interact or edit them.
- Media uploaded by learners remains accessible and downloadable for review.
6. How do I archive a user?
- Log in to your BeED account on the web or app.
- Go to the Hub List and select the Hub where the user is currently active.
- Click on the Archive User button in the user's profile box.
- Confirm the action when prompted.
7. How to undo the archive process?
- Select the Archive User(s) tab right next to your LE list.
- Mark the checkboxes next to the archived user name
- Select Unarchive User
- Confirm the action when prompted.
8. How do I know if a user has been archived?
Archived users will have an indicator or tag (e.g., Archived) displayed next to their name in the Hub’s user list.
9. What should I do before archiving a user?
- Ensure you have saved or downloaded any necessary records related to the user’s activities.
- Inform the user of the archive action if required.
