The Educator Preview Mode has been significantly improved in both Curriculum Builder and Journeys, with the added ability to preview lessons in mobile view via the web interface. These updates ensure educators can view and interact with lesson content exactly as learners would, providing an accurate and seamless simulation across devices and platforms.

1. Preview Mode in Journeys (Web)

Educators can now preview lessons in Journeys, just like in Curriculum Builder.

2. Mobile Preview for Web

Educators can now preview lessons in a mobile layout directly from the web, simulating how content will appear on learners’ mobile devices.
✅ Ideal for catching layout or formatting issues in mobile view.

3. Realistic Learner Simulation

  • The preview shows exactly how learners will see the content, including formatting, timers, and question layout.

  • Color schemes, block styles, and navigation replicate the learner interface.

4. Interactive Timers

  • Lesson Timer: Start, pause, and stop the timer just like a learner would.

  • Question Timers: Function identically to learner mode.

5. Answer Fields & Buttons

  • Answer containers are visible but disabled to simulate learner view.

  • Buttons like Send, Reattempt, and Attachment Upload are shown but inactive.

6. Unanswered Question Display

  • Shows the total number of unanswered questions.

  • Yellow alert/warning has been removed to reduce distractions.

7. Fast, Smooth Navigation

  • Educators can easily navigate through lessons without lag.

Step 1: Open a lesson in LMS or Journeys.
Step 2: Locate the preview icons on the upper toolbar.

  • Web Preview (new icon)

  • Mobile Preview (mobile device icon)

Step 3: Click the Mobile Preview icon.

  • Opens a new browser tab showing the mobile view.

Step 4: Explore the simulation.

  • Navigate between maps, points, and stages.

  • Timers and answer fields function in preview mode (no data is saved).

Step 5: Switch between lesson builder and preview easily using tabs.
