How can I annotate a learner’s PDF submission?

  1. Click on the three dots next to the learner’s PDF submission.
  2. Click on the "Annotate" option. The document will open in a new browser tab.

What tools are available for PDF annotations?

  • Freehand Drawing: Select colors and adjust stroke thickness.
  • Shapes: Add rectangles, adjust their size and rotation, and select preset colors.
  • Text: Insert text boxes, adjust font size and color, and reposition the text.
  • Images: Upload, resize, and move images within the PDF.

How do I manage annotations?

  • Save annotations directly in the system without downloading.
  • Undo or redo recent actions.
  • Delete individual annotations or clear all annotations on the page.

Annotator Toolbar Walkthrough

A. Select Mode

  • Use this tool to select any asset (e.g., text, shapes, or images) that has been added to the PDF for adjustments or repositioning.

B. Freehand Drawing Tool

  • Draw freely on the PDF with customizable stroke thickness and color options.

C. Add Text Box

  • Insert a text box anywhere on the PDF. Customize font size, style, and color.

D. Create Arrows

  • Add arrows to highlight or point to specific areas on the PDF. Adjust size, direction, and color.

E. Create Rectangles

  • Draw rectangles to outline or emphasize sections of the PDF. Modify size, color, and opacity.

F. Add Images

  • Upload images from your device and place them on the PDF. Resize, rotate, and move them as needed.

G. Undo and Redo Button

  • Undo or redo the last action to correct any mistakes or revert changes.

H. Delete Selected Assets

  • Remove any selected text, shape, or image from the PDF.

I. Reset PDF

  • Revert the PDF back to its original uploaded state by resetting all annotations.

J. Retry Button

  • Ask learners to retry their lesson.

K. Correct Button

  • Mark the learner's answer as correct with this indicator.

L. Save Annotated PDF

  • Save all changes and annotations directly to the PDF for future reference
