BeEDWiz - Creating a Lesson Plan

Introduction

BeEDWiz (BWiz) simplifies lesson planning by providing AI-generated prompts based on your specific teaching needs. By following this step-by-step guide, you can efficiently create structured and engaging lesson plans tailored to your subject, age group, and curriculum requirements.

Step 1: Access BWiz

1. Open the Lesson Creation Module.

2. Locate and select the BWiz module on the right side of the interface.

Step 2: Input Key Parameters

Fill in the required details to tailor the lesson plan:

• Learning Objectives – Define the goals of the lesson (e.g., "Understand properties of light," "Build a predictive model").

• Subject – Choose the relevant subject (e.g., Science, Math).

• Age Range – Specify the target age group (e.g., 7-9 years).

• Curriculum Standard – Select the applicable curriculum (e.g., KSSM, IB, IGCSE).

• Language – Choose the language of instruction (e.g., English).

• Save As – Enter a name for the lesson plan file for easy retrieval.

Step 3: Create the Lesson Plan

1. Navigate to the dashboard and select ‘Create New Lesson Plan’.

2. Configure the lesson plan content based on the following:

   • Duration – Set the lesson length (e.g., 20, 40, 60, or 80 minutes).

   • Phases – Select the instructional phases:

     • Explore

     • Explain

     • Elaborate

     • Evaluate

     • Engage

     • Other (Specify as needed).

   • Additional Requirements – Add any extra details to refine the lesson plan generation.

Step 4: Generate and Apply the Lesson Plan

1. Click Submit to send the input parameters to BWiz.

2. BWiz will generate lesson plan prompts based on the provided details.

3. Copy & Paste the generated prompts and integrate them into your lesson.
