The Accumulative Scores display gives you a real-time view of the total possible score for your Experio as you build. As you assign Max Score values to Question Blocks, the display updates automatically — so you always know the full score picture without having to calculate it manually.
The Experio Builder is available for Educators on the web platform.
Want to keep track of your Experio's total score as you build? Let's take a closer look below.
Before You Begin
- Log in to BeED using your account credentials.
- Make sure your active role is set to Educator.
- Open an Experio from the Unified Library to enter the Experio Builder.
- Ensure the Max Score toggle is enabled in the Experio Settings panel. See the Experio Details & Settings guide for more.
The Accumulative Scores Display
The Accumulative Scores display is a persistent element in the Main Frame header, positioned beside the Save button. It is visible at all times while you are editing the Experio.
Display format: Icon + Total Score
The value shown represents the total possible score of the entire Experio — the sum of all Max Score values assigned to Question Blocks across all Points and Stages.
How Scores Are Calculated
Scores are built up from the Block level through to the overall Experio total.
| Level | Calculation |
|---|---|
| Block Score | The Max Score assigned to an individual Question Block |
| Stage Score | Sum of all Question Block scores within the Stage |
| Point Score | Sum of all Stage Scores within the Point |
| Experio Score | Sum of all Point Scores |
Only Question Blocks contribute to the score. Lesson Blocks, Conference Blocks, and other non-question content do not affect the total.
Since Max Score values can include decimal values, accumulated scores may also display as decimals.
Hover Tooltips
Hovering over the Accumulative Scores display shows a tooltip with contextual score information depending on what is currently selected in the builder.
No Point or Stage selected (default):
The tooltip displays:
- Experio Total = X
- Select a Point or Stage to see its individual accumulative score.
A Point is selected:
The tooltip displays:
- Point [Point Name] = X
Example: If your Point is named "Introduction", the tooltip shows Point Introduction = X.
A Stage is selected:
The tooltip displays:
- Stage [Stage Name] = X
Example: If your Stage is named "Warm Up", the tooltip shows Stage Warm Up = X.

- Click on a Point Holder to select it — the tooltip on the Accumulative Scores display will now show the score for that Point.
- To check a Stage score, click on the Stage in the Stage Bar to select it.
- Hover over the Accumulative Scores display in the Main Frame header.
- The tooltip shows the cumulative score for the selected Point or Stage.
How the Display Updates in Real Time
The Accumulative Scores display updates automatically as you work — no manual refresh needed.
- Assigning a Max Score to a Question Block increases the total immediately.
- Modifying a Max Score on an existing Question Block updates the total to reflect the new value.
- Deleting a Question Block reduces the total by that Block's Max Score value.
- Adding a new Question Block with an inherited Max Score from the Settings panel adds that value to the total immediately.
Based on the steps above, here's a quick summary:
- The Accumulative Scores display is always visible in the Main Frame header beside the Save button.
- The value shown is the total possible score of the entire Experio based on the Max Score values assigned to Question Blocks.
- Hover over the display to see the score breakdown — Experio total by default, or Point/Stage score when one is selected.
- The display updates in real time as you assign, modify, or delete Max Score values.
You always know your Experio's score picture — right from the builder header!
