Creating a Lesson Plan in B-Wiz

Introduction

The B-Wiz feature streamlines lesson planning by guiding you through a structured process, ensuring every lesson is purposeful, engaging, and aligned with your teaching objectives. This guide will walk you through each step—from accessing the tool to generating a ready-to-use lesson plan—so you can focus more on delivering impactful learning experiences.

Step 1: Access B-Wiz

From the Lesson Creation Module, locate the B-Wiz panel on the right-hand side of your screen. This is your starting point for creating structured, curriculum-aligned lesson plans.

Step 2: Select “Lesson Plan”

On the B-Wiz dashboard, choose the option Lesson Plan. This will open the lesson configuration panel where you can set the lesson’s parameters.

Step 3: Configure Lesson Plan Settings

1. Duration

Select the planned length of your lesson:

  • 20 minutes

  • 40 minutes

  • 60 minutes

  • 80 minutes

2. Phases

Choose one or more lesson phases to structure the learning flow:

  • Explore – Introduce the topic and spark curiosity.

  • Explain – Present new knowledge in a clear, structured way.

  • Elaborate – Encourage deeper thinking and connections.

  • Evaluate – Assess understanding through activities or questions.

  • Engage – Capture student interest with interactive elements.

If the preset options do not fit your needs, select Other and type your custom requirement.

Step 4: Provide Requirements or Upload Reference Material

You can manually fill in lesson requirements or add an existing reference file to guide content generation.

Option 1: Manually Fill in Requirements:

  • Learning Objectives – Define clear, measurable goals.
Example: “Understand the properties of light and build a predictive model.”

  • Subject – State the relevant subject (e.g., Science, Mathematics).

  • Age – Indicate the target age range (e.g., 7–9 years).

  • Curriculum – Select the applicable standard (KSSM, IB, IGCSE, etc.).

  • Language – Choose the language in which the content will be written.

  • Save as – Provide a meaningful file name for easy retrieval.

Option 2 – Upload Reference Material:

  • Upload from your computer – Accepts PDF files up to 10 MB.

  • Reuse a previously uploaded file – Select from your saved references.

You may also add extra instructions below the reference section to fine-tune the generated output.

Step 6: Generate Your Lesson Plan

Once all fields are complete, click Create Now. B-Wiz will process your inputs and produce a comprehensive lesson plan draft.

Step 7: Copy and Apply

Review the generated plan. When ready, copy and paste it directly into your lesson document or platform. Make adjustments if necessary to fit your teaching style or classroom needs.
