FAQ: How Learners Can View Annotated Files

What are Annotated Files?
Annotated files are materials (PDFs, images, or videos) marked with highlights, comments, or other notes by your educator to enhance your understanding of the content.

Steps to View Annotated Files:

  1. Log in to BeED Web with your learner account.
  2. Open the Learning Experience or Lesson
  3. Click on the material (PDF, image, or video) and click on the 3 dots on the right side of the material name
  4. View all the annotations directly on the material, including highlights, comments, and shapes.

Can I Edit or Add Annotations?
No, learners can only view annotations made by educators. The annotation features are not available for learners.

What Should I Do If I Can’t View the Annotated File?

  • Check your internet connection.
  • Ensure you’re using an updated web browser.
  • If the issue continues, contact your educator or reach out to BeED support.
