How to clear cache in Google Chrome

1. Log on to www.beed.world (http://www.beed.world) and click on Login. In the top left corner of the browser, click on the lock icon near the URL section. 2. This opens up a drop down menu. Click on Site Settings. 3. In the new page, under Usage, click on Clear data. This clears all cookies stored for this website on your browser.

Why can't I log in?

I can't see any Learning Experiences in the app.

If you are logged in as a Basic Member, you will need to purchase Learning Experiences from the Nexus first. If you are a member of an Institution, please switch roles to your Institution first: In your app, go to the main menu and click on “Account Settings”. Go to “Switch Roles”. Switch to an Admin, Educator or Learner role within an Institution you are a member of. You should be able to see any available Learning Experiences now.

I can't submit answers for a lesson.

Learning Experiences are attached to a Hub, which have a start and end date. Once the Hub has ended, you are no longer able to answer your LEs. If your hub has not ended yet, check that your Learning Experience is not a timed one. If your Educator has set a Timer on it, that means you will not be able to respond to any more questions once the timer has ended.

Why can't I access the BeED LMS?

To access the BeED LMS, you will need to subscribe to an LMS package with us first. Please check that you have subscribed to the LMS first before attempting to access it, or contact us at contact@beed.world.

My app keeps saying "timeout error".

This happens when you have a less than ideal Internet connection. Please switch to another location with a better connection, or download your LEs for future use when there is poor connectivity.

I can't view videos in my app due to a "copyright restriction" error notice.

This may be caused by a restriction in your own personal mobile device. We recommend you download and install VLC Media Player to play your videos in the Learning Experience.

How much media can I include into my Learning Experiences?

To make your Learning Experiences more engaging, we highly recommend including as much rich media as possible into your lessons. What is the maximum size that I can upload as an attachment?

Learners are allowed to upload as many attachments as they want when responding to questions in their Learning Experiences. However, to take into account storage and bandwidth constraints, each uploaded file in a single question is capped at a maximum size of 12mb.

I can't upload any photos or attachments in my app.

How do I go offline?

In your app, go to “Account Settings” from the main menu, and then toggle on the “Offline Mode” feature. However, to see your Learning Experiences offline, you would need to download them first. When you are connected, select the Learning Experience of your choice and swipe left to select the download feature.
